In 2024 (1403), the global Art Deco organization sent a form to its members regarding Art Deco buildings that are currently undergoing preservation and restoration efforts.

The Tehran Art Deco Group nominated Khayyam Elementary School.

These images date back to when this file was prepared, and the school’s condition has since changed. The school museum was also opened in 2025

Following repeated follow-ups, ICADS announced that the organization lacks the resources and capacity to assist with the project.
